Have you ever met a couple where it was just crystal clear God intended for them to find their way to one another? That’s Rachel and Daniel. These two love birds tied the knot last November and I had the honor of shooting their wedding. Believe it or not, Daniel actually proposed to Rachel during a couple’s photo shoot, and the rest has been history.

You’d think planning a wedding during COVID would be stressful, but Rachel was cool, calm and collected throughout the entire process. She met Daniel at the age of 14 and dated him for five years. So you can say, she was  confident in her decision to move forward and marry the love of her life.

This Valentine’s Day, I wanted to give you all a glimpse into the Kramer’s special day! Grab some chocolate, pour yourself a glass of wine or tea and enjoy.

Rachel and her stunning bridesmaids started the day at Chateau La Rouse in Marysville, MI. The intimacy of the location mixed with the giddiness from the girls made this morning pure perfection. Rachel decided on 8 bridesmaids to stand alongside the six men Daniel chose as his groomsmen. The best part is Rachel had her four sisters get ready with her as well as stand at the altar beside her when we made it to First Baptist Church of Goodells.

When I originally spoke to Rachel and Daniel, they made it very evident that they were not to see one another before the ceremony. This tradition is common, however some couples opt in for a first look before walking down the aisle. I loved the decision these two made, and what made it even more special is that Rachel wanted to do the first look with her father instead. Cue the tears.

At 2pm sharp, it was go time! The couple opted to celebrate this special day with their closest friends and family members. Once the wedding music began, everyone took their seats and the bridesmaids began their elegant walk. The dusty blue dresses photographed perfectly with the sage green and yellow color scheme the newlyweds picked out.

After Daniel kissed his bride and they mutually said “I do,” it was officially time to capture lifelong memories with the entire family! Family photos are always one of my favorite parts of shooting weddings because nothing is more precious than seeing two families come together and unite. The looks of joy and happiness on both sides couldn’t be more obvious – this was such a special day for everyone in attendance.

The wedding reception was hosted at the McGivney Banquet Hall. After snapping photographs at the park, inside and outside the church, the beautiful couple headed over for the DJ to officially announce the couple as Mr. and Mrs. Kramer!

This wedding couldn’t have been more fun to capture! The couple was stunning, personable and I now consider them lifelong friends. Here’s wishing you a Happy Valentine’s Day! And, I hope you will join me in wishing the Kramer’s a happy first Valentine’s Day as a married couple!

I’ll be sharing some more holiday content over on my Instagram, so be sure to follow along! Which one of these photos was your favorite?
